18th World Aerobatic Championships

The 18th World Aerobatic Championships is processing requests for Media Credentials. (If you have already responded please disregard.) If you are yet to respond, please make your request as soon as possible. There is no history on WAC as a stand alone event in the USA to help us estimate requirements for the working newsroom and services to the media.

Make your request on company letterhead or with a copy of your business card. Be sure to include your full business address, E-mail address (if you have one), telephone and fax numbers.

Access to the contestant's flight-line will require a Media Pass and a Photo Pass. Photographers should make clear they are requesting a WAC Photo Pass in addition to Media Credentials.

Two passport size photographs will be required. (One will be attached to your request and retained in the WAC files.) You can mail your photos to the street address above or WAC will take them when you arrive. If you have mailed the passport pictures, your Media Credentials will be waiting. If your pictures have not arrived, you will have to wait for a photo to be taken.

Between 10 a.m and 5 p.m. Sunday, August 18, you can claim your Media Credentials at WAC Headquarters in the Radisson Inn, West Interstate 40 and Meridian Avenue, Oklahoma City.

If you arrive August 19 or later, WAC will fax you a form for one-time entry to the 18th World Aerobatic Championships at Clarence E. Page Airport. Your credentials will be in the WAC News Center.
