Team Canada

Canada is sending a three man, one woman team, flying the Extra 300, the new Pitts S-1-11-B, and the first WAC appearance of Dan Rihn's DR-107 One Design monoplane. Not pictured is Randy Gagne, an aerobatic instructor and Hollywood Stunt Pilot from Sherman Oaks, California. Gagne was the Canadian 4 Minute Champion in 1989 and won the Coupe Cap - B Class International in 1983.

Physician Pat Cruchley has been competing in aerobatics since 1984, moving up the ranks to the unlimited level in 1993. She is the only Canadian woman to compete at this level, and will be the first female competitor ever from Canada at the World Aerobatic Championships. In 1990, she became the first woman to win a Canadian National Championship at the Advanced level, the level of competition one stage below Unlimited. Pat obtained her pilot's license in 1981, and when not flying is an anaesthetist in Toronto.
